[ Cas contemplates the necklace already slipped around his neck. It occurs to him how strange and yet natural this feels - how they all slip into each other's spaces. In Camp Chitaqua, Cas' cabin was open to anyone as they pleased, but his small, cozy bedroom was his sanctuary, open to not a single soul but himself. Here in Deerington, he likes knowing he can slip into anyone's space in this house, and have them exist in his space, too. He's no longer marooned on an island in a scattering of cabins. Makes the itch under his skin more bearable, that need for a connection he lost when Heaven slammed shut and all he had left was the silence where once there'd been his siblings. ]
